The Community Church of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff is an independent, non-denominational community that was originally founded in 1999 as a part-time ministry called “The Community Worship Hour”.  In 2002 we became “The Community Church”.  We are a federally-recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization. We do not have a traditional or formal membership process and do not ask participants to renounce their memberships in other religious organizations.  Currently, we have approximately 140 active families. We worship September through May at 11:00 a.m. in the Lili Reid Holt Memorial Chapel at Lake Forest College, and June through August at 8:00 a.m. in the Lake Bluff Beach South shelter.
